HOW TO CREATE A THEME WITH BLUE FTP APPLICATION
Creating a theme on the blue ftp application is one of the easiest things you can ever try on this app.all you need to do is download the blue ftp application onto your phone andmake sure you have some themes you wish to edit.
Open the application and on it, accept all requests the app makes to access your files and then you’ll see two selections, your phone memory and your memory card, openthe memory card (not the phone memory as the phone has alot of softwares that doesn’t work for the blue ftp application) and goto any one of the themes you would like to editand open it, there you will see all the icons (ifit has), all the pictures used to create the theme, all the music(if it has) and a file called ‘theme descriptor’ which is the heart of the theme… DON’T TAMPER WITH IT. Now, click on options, scroll down and select ‘select all’, after that, all items should have been highlighted now press options again and select ‘extract items’ immediately you do that, the theme will close and take you back to the memory card menu, when it does so, you just create a folder and open it then press options and extract the files you had copied to the new folder.
Now, close the blue ftp application and goto the new file on your memory card directly……This is the tricky part so read carefully, YOU NOW HAVE THE EXTRACTED FORM OF THE THEME YOU WISH TO CUSTOMISE IN ONE FILE, SO ALSO SHOULD YOU HAVE THE PICTURES YOUWISH TO ADD IN ANOTHER FOLDER NOW, LOOKAT THE NAME OF THE THEME’S PICTURE THAT YOU WISH TO CHANGE TO YOURS OWN CUSTOM PIC AND DELETE IT, NOW GOTO YOUR PICS AND CHOOSE ONE WHICH YOU WANT TO FILL THE SPACE AND RENAME IT WITH THAT WHICH YOU DELETED AND MOVE IT TO THAT FILE (i suggest you copy it so that you don’t lose such pic to the theme), in short, make sure the name given to the picture on the theme is that which you later name the one you wish to insert. NOTE; IF THE FORMAT IS ‘JPG’, YOU CAN’T USE A FILE FORMAT OF ‘PNG’ and so and so cause thats how it works for the blue ftp, and make sure its picture for picture and music for music and so and so….After that, go back to the blue ftp applicationand goto the file that you have customised and now select all/highlight and select ‘compress files’ from the option menu, give aname to the file and make the format ‘nth’, accept all requests to access your memory and BOOM! You have your very own theme….Now, I suggest you start with a simple theme with not many items so you can get the hang on it, well thats it, good luck on it.plz leave a comment
