How to change opera mini splashscreen


Download the Needed Appsbr /> .
A- Class Editor
B- Multi HexEditor
C- Calc4m
D- blueFTP
E-Opmin42LabsHandlerUI150
.
Instructions :
First you must have an image to use as theom4.2labs Splash in PNG format. Be sure touse images that fits to
screen eg. 128×160,
176×208, 176×220,
240×320
.Now open your picture with class editor, then press * key, highlight all the contents of the picture.
.
Now Press 5 or Ok then press right -> then select copy.
.
NOTE: write down the size of the picture, itis place at the bottom part of the class editor.
.
Then press right soft key.
.
Then Extract the Opmin4.2labs HandlerUI using blueFTP
.
Open the “v” file
where the splash were placed using Class Editor.
.
Press 9 then put PNG on text then option ok
.
Then press #, then press 4 or <-
.
Now Press * key, then mark till you seeIEND [] B ' []
i.e
|[] PNGtill you reachIEND [] B ' []|
Then press 5 then select insert.
Then save it.
You ar nt yet truhe calc4m, put the size (from class editor) of the picture you use that you will get from instruction #4, press down 2 times, then press & hold # key)

Copy the hex value you will get then open Multi HexEditor, press upper left key, then chooseUI150then put there the hex valueyou get from calc4m then execute.
Now write down thosenew hex valuesthat you generate on paper.

Open again the "v" file using the class editor(press0to see hex values)

Then press key 7, clear what you see and enter 27, ok it, then press key 4, you will see these hex
.
2B26 0000 2B42 0000 2C09 0000 2CEB 0000 2E0B 0000 2F21 0000 3065 0000 31AF 0000 321E 0000 328E 0000 3344 0000 3403 0000 34CE 0000 3695 0000 3C38 0000 4144 0000 494D 0000 5077
.
Then replace them with your new hex values.

Note: in changing hex values, 2 digits can be change at once.
To change the hex press key 3 and ok.
Press key 6 to move to the next hex value.
Dont touch 0000 (four 0's) that separated those hex.

Then save.
.
Now open your blueFTP, press menu, choose select all, press menu again choosecompress to .zip
.
That is all.

Easiest way to mod opera mini ur self


We are gonna be Learning more
about Modding, but 1st lets take a
look @
the subject of the matterbr /> ‘OPERAMINI’.
Sum still dont know dat modding
with an s40 phone is possible; well,
lets make sumtin out of our FONE n’
see 4 ourselves!
Process taken, can as well be
performed on an s60fone…
LISTS OF MODDING SOFTWARE/TOOLS
REQUIRED
1. BlueFTP
2. MobyExplorer
3. Class Editor
4. Mar’Hex Editor
5. Class translator
5. PaintCAD
6. ProPaint Mobile
7. Calc4m
8. Exzhex Editor
9. RawFile eg. OperaMini.zip..
::::::::::TUTORIAL STARTS:::::::::br /> EXTRACTFILES IN ZIP ARCHIVE
Use BlueFTP to extract all the files in
the zip archive.
Process=> Open BlueFTP, then
locate click on d zip file
(OperaMini.zip) to open. Select all
files using #key or *key!
Next, Press(1) to copy selected
items>>Create a new folder>>Press
(3) to paste already copied items —
EDITING THE NAME/DETAILS
Requirements:-
Class Editor or MobyExplorer…
Using Class Editor
Browse thru ur files nd locate d the
NEW FOLDER u pasted the files u
Unzip.. U always found a folder
named ‘META-INF’ click enter and
also found a file inside d folder
called ‘MAINFEST.MF.
Here u’ll notice sum details worth
changing/editing, like Midlet Name,
Midlet description…etc.
Edit d titles/names given, to ur taste
and leave d headings – but b
carefull not 2 edit d wrong part.
Then save!
Do the same in the case of
MobyExplorer…….
TRANSLATE.CLASS FILES,
Requirement: Class Translator
Mak use of this class translator to
edit other.class likebr /> Browser.class, HandlerU1.class,
e.t.c :In here u’ll find d custom
server and sum relevant notes, just
edit it 2 ur taste.
NOTE: This example is base on the
(OperaMINI.zip) provided by
VMAN..
And 2 get d main server itself;
“a.class” has it, just mak use of
‘CLASS EDITOR’ 2 edit it!

Learn how to mod opera mini


This Tutorial is meant to teach you how to mode opera mini application.
I’ll try and make this tutorial simple and self explanatory!
LETS GO THERE!
APPLICATIONS NEEDED
BLUEFTP
Zip File of the application that you want to mode i.e opera4.2.zip
Class Translator
Moby explorer
STEPS TO FOLLOW
Open your Blueftp and locate that opera.zip.
After locating the opera.zip, Press Ok and It’ll bring somethings like META-INF, a.class, browser.class, f.class etc.
NOTE/u> If these things i.e META-INF etc, does not display, your zip file is not good, Re-download another 1.
After it might have brought those things, Click on Menu, then click on select all, then press 1 to copy.
Click on Menu again, scroll down to create new folder, name the folder anything you want, then click Ok.
Open that folder and press 3 to copy what you’ve extracted…… Continue pressing Yes until you see, “compression successful”.
Now Exit your BlueFtp, Open your Class Translator, Locate the folder that you extracted those items, open it and it will bring those META-INF, a.class, browser.class etc, Click on each of those things and start editing it.
Ensure that you are saving each of those things after editing each of them.
NOTE/u>
EDIT ONLY WHAT YOU KNOW, WRONG EDITING OF SOME THINGS MAY MAKE THE COMPRESSION TO BE UNSUCCESSFUL AND THEREBY THE APPLICATION MAY BE DISPLAYING APPLICATION ERROR AFTER COMPRESSION.
And you might have finished editing each of them, close your Class translator and Open your Moby Explorer.
Locate the folder again and open it.
The first option that it’l bring is META-INF.
Click on it and Click on MANIFEST-INF
NOTE/u>
META-INF is mainly meant for renaming the actual name of applications and used for some other things like changing of handler cheat code, changing of loading, processing and connecting bar etc mostly when editing Opera.
Open MANIFEST-INF, You’l see something like MIDLET-NAME, in front of it, you’ll see the name of the opera application, change it to your desired name.
Scroll down and start Editing some others things.
Press Back and scroll down to v.class, Edit what you want also and press “SAVE” aftereach editing.
YOU ARE ALMOST THERE!
Close your class Translator, and open your blueftp again, locate the folder.
Open the folder, you’ll see i.png or icon.png, delete it, take any pixs of yours, renami it to i.png or icon.png as it is written in the extracted file, copy it, open that folder again and paste it there.
After this, Click on Menu and click on select all. Click on Compress to .jar, rename it andstart pressing Yes until you see, Compression successful………
Exit your Blueftp and open the folder again, then you’ll see the edited application!!!
